The Chernobyl 10k was full to busting again this – that would be a surprise if the race was actually held in Chernobyl.  A series of charity races the location for this race was Walton le Dale near Preston which meant that four Garstang Running Club members were prepared to make the journey, pay their dues and show off the club vest in a massive field of 497 runners.  Richard Roberts was first back for the club in 38.12 minutes  and 33rd position.  He was followed by Al Hartley 74th in 41.08,  Richard Jones 101st in 43.24 and Denise Hughes 347th in 53.58 minutes
