All finishers at the recent Guy’s 10 received a cheese and those at the Longridge 7 were given a Christmas pudding. Apparently one competitor is looking for a race before Christmas that offers a turkey so that she can complete the set!! Garstang Running club had four members attacking the hills of Longridge with Richard Jones leading them home in 44th place in 48.30, he was followed by Tim Warner 65th in 50.40, Pam Murphy 163rd in 1 hour 04.06 and Mike Hall 197th in 1.04.06.The last of the 246 finishers completed the tough course in 1.22.11.

Somewhat further a field Jane Holt was 65th of 117 finishers in the Newcastle (Staffordshire) Dales Dash a multi terrain 10k where the main feature was mud!
