Tarnbrook torchlight run. 2/11/06.
If you thought the A6 was a bit sparse on Thursday evening, this is
why. 11 of us were moonlighting above Tarnbrook.

The lights of the Flyde coast in the distance, with the headtorches of
two runners making the jiggly pattern in the right foreground.
It was a cold, clear night. The nearly full moon gave plenty of
light for running, though not enough for photography.

We are still trying to work out what was glowing from Claire's backside.
The run was about 9.8km at a leisurely pace, on the gravel shooters'
tracks.
Uphill to start with then undulating along the flank of Ward's stone
before dropping into the hamlet of Tarnbrook and returning along the
valley road.
Here's the team outside one of the Duke's shooting huts. You
can't see the hut very well but then neither could anyone else once the
flash photography had destroyed their night vision.
