Race director’s thoughts
  1. •A record entry with 353 finishers.  This made on the day entries hectic.
  2. •Well done to all runners for doing so well in the very windy conditions.
  3. •Thanks to all the marshals for braving the cold.
  4. •And to the Garstang runners for flying the flag.
  5. •Well done to our own Mike Whyatt - first MV40 and 5th overall.
  6. • Lots of runners said thanks after the race - especially the Wesham team.
  7. •Our farthest-flung entry was from Nigeria.
  8. •Thanks to the two honest guys who paid their entry after the race.
  9. •And the credit card was reunited with its owner.  (See you all when I’m back from the Caribbean.)
